CENTER CITY COMMITTEE
MEETING MINUTES
March 1, 2005

Present: Ray DeRosa, Matt Fitzpatrick, and Bill Lipchitz.

Attendance was small due to the snowstorm. Only three intrepid members made it to the meeting, which was so informal that minutes were not recorded.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

* The Center City Committee has invited the new National Park Superintendent, Michael Creasey, to next week’s meeting. Come and meet Michael and hear about his plans for the park. Michael has a proven track record in preservation and building partnerships and is known for his energetic and creative spirit. He is a native of Pennsylvania and has recently been the Executive Director of the John H. Chaffee Blackstone River Valley National Heritage Corridor Commission and Superintendent of Roger Williams National Memorial. He also holds the world record for the longest job title in North America.

* Ernie Middlemiss and Amy Werner have agreed to attend the March 15th CCC meeting to discuss the role of the DLBA and its relationship to the Center City Committee.

* CCC Award Winner Chris Starr from Winn Development has invited members of the Committee to tour the Boott Mills Apartments. Chris says he can accommodate about 10 people. Please contact Christine DeFeo at 978-459-0551 or cdefeo@comteam.org to indicate your interest and she will arrange a time and day.
