The Lowell Center City Committee, Inc. Annual Meeting is held on the last Tuesday of March. Voting Members are appointed by recognized Stakeholder Organizations. If a Stakeholder Group does not have an organization, its member may be appointed by the Committee itself. Each Voting Member with a right to designate a Director may also designate an Alternate-Director, who may vote in the Director’s absence. Annual dues for voting members are $50/organiztion. Regular monthly meetings of the Board of Directors are held on the last Tuesday of each month.
Current Officers are: Bill Lipchitz, President; Molly Sheehy, Vice-President; Marshall Field, Clerk, Jamie O'Hearn, Treasurer, and Terry Williams, Secretary.
General Membership is open to all persons who are considered stakeholders in the downtown area of Lowell, Massachusetts. A stakeholder is defined as a person who lives, works, owns property or a business, attends an educational institution, or provides educational, cultural, business, governmental or social services to or from a location in downtown Lowell. General Members do not vote, but may attend regular weekly informal meetings, and receive information, minutes of meetings and newsletters regarding the activities of the Committee. The informal meetings are held every Tuesday at 8:30 AM unless the previous Monday is a holiday or it is the day of the Stakeholder Meeting. Dues for General Members are $15.00/year.
